Maor Scholarship Fund
We are looking to build the Maor Scholarship Fund with the aim to support aspiring dancers in Mumbai, India. The fund will provide scholarships to underprivileged youth to train at the Institute of Classical and Modern Dance (ICMD) under the guidance of master teacher Yehuda Maor.
Our goal is to empower the next generation of dancers who will further build the Indian artistic community. Through the Maor Scholarship Fund, we’re hoping to bring together the talented dancers of India and encourage and support them build careers in the arts.
How the scholarship fund makes a difference
Access to dance training: The Maor Scholarship Fund will build a bridge to connect ICMD to talented underprivileged youth who wish to learn dance but do not have the resources to do so.
Empowerment: This scholarship will provide dancers with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge, empowering them to become professional dancers.
Global Impact: Scholars will be equipped to bring transformative ideas and practices back to their home communities.
How the funds will be used: The funds will be used to cover student fees for students who cannot afford it, either entirely or partially which is determined by their families financial need. This will give them access not only to an education at the highest standard but also additional support like mentorship, and college counselling.
